Module: Endpoint Backup v2

IMPORTANT  ThreatLocker Compatibility Notice: Endpoint Backup may experience communication or functionality issues if ThreatLocker is not configured correctly.

To ensure smooth deployment and operation of the backup agent, follow these steps:

1. Enable Training Mode in ThreatLocker:
   Before deploying agents, place ThreatLocker in Training Mode.
   1. Log in to your ThreatLocker portal.
   2. Navigate to the Policies section.
   3. Enable Training Mode for the relevant group or system where the agent will be installed.
2. Deploy the Agent:
   Install the Endpoint Backup agent while ThreatLocker is in Training Mode.
   This ensures that ThreatLocker automatically creates the required allow policies for the agent's communication and functionality.
3. Switch Back to Normal Mode:
   Once the installation is complete, pairing has completed and the first backups have started, disable Training Mode and return ThreatLocker to Normal Mode.
4. Review Policies:
   After switching back to Normal Mode, review the automatically generated policies in ThreatLocker to ensure all required operations for the Endpoint Backup agent are permitted.
