Description
Upgrades to add storage capacity to your SIRIS Virtual or SIRIS Imaged device can be purchased directly from Datto via your Sales Executive. Follow these steps to upgrade your device.
- 1. Verify your current hardware or hypervisor has sufficient capacity for the upgrade. You can upgrade to any of the following capacities that your device supports.
SIRIS Virtual | 2TB | 3TB | 6TB | 10TB | 12TB | 18TB | 24TB | 36TB | 48TB | 60TB |
SIRIS Imaged | 2TB | 3TB | 6TB | 10TB | 12TB | 18TB | 24TB | 36TB | 48TB | 60TB |
Based on RAID configurations and other factors, you will generally need more storage available on your device than just the storage capacity you are trying to achieve. You can contact Datto technical support for help with calculating requirements.
- 2. Contact your Datto Sales Executive and request an upgrade quote.
- Once you've received and approved your quote, your Sales Executive will place the order and you'll receive a copy of your Customer Sales Order (CSO). You'll need the CSO to implement and register your upgrade.
- 3. Open a ticket with Datto Technical Support to implement your upgrade.
- Datto Technical support will need to know the details of your device upgrade, so be sure to reference your CSO and all relevant information in the ticket.
- Datto Technical Support will notify you once your upgrade has been completed and your billing plan has been adjusted.
You'll need to complete all of the above steps before your upgrade will be ready to use. If you have any questions on this process, contact your Datto Sales Executive, or Datto Technical Support.
