Environment
- Hyper-V Connector
Description
Version 1.0.6 - August 25, 2026
Improvements
- Faster initial readiness after install by initiating the first connector check-in immediately (no wait for the normal interval).
- Improved compatibility for “Virtualize via Hypervisor” restores when using the Hyper-V Connector with older Hyper-V hosts.
Bug fixes
- Resolved repeated connector log errors after installation/initial pairing (“shutdown: The file handle supplied is not valid”).
Version 1.0.5 - August 3, 2026
Bug Fixes
- Upgrade reliability fix: Resolved upgrade failures seen when a protected HKLM\Software\Datto registry key existed (e.g., scenarios involving Datto EDR), enabling smoother non-interactive upgrades.
- Consistent logging across time zones: Fixed log rotation to use UTC (matching log timestamps) instead of local machine time.
- Memory usage stability: Fixed improper HTTP session cleanup after unexpected connection termination to prevent gradual memory increase.
- Correct firewall rule placement: Fixed outbound firewall rules being created as inbound rules (and validated correct cleanup on uninstall).
Version 1.0.4 - July 16, 2026
Bug Fixes
- Improved handling of international (Unicode) VM names for backups and restores.
Version 1.0.3 - July 9, 2026
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where installing the Hyper-V Connector on a system running a non-English language would cause virtual machines to not appear during agentless pairing on the SIRIS.
Version 1.0.1 - June 30, 2026
- Initial release.
