Error: "There was a problem starting the restore"
Issue
When you try to start a cloud file restore or cloud virtualization for a system, you see the message:
"Error - There was a problem starting the restore. Please try again."
Environment
- Datto Endpoint Backup for PCs
- Datto Endpoint Backup
Cause
There is a restore of that type that is already mounted for the protected system.
Resolution
You can only have one cloud restore of a given type mounted at a time for systems in the cloud. Remove any existing restores, and then attempt to create the restore again.
