Datto Partner Portal: BCDR Status Page
Topic
This article discusses the BCDR Status page. It presents important information about each Datto device in your fleet, as well as each agent on those devices.
Environment
Datto Partner Portal
Description
The BCDR Status Overview page GUI is segmented into three primary sections: Control, Device, and Agent Information.
Control Section
Select View lets you toggle between standard view and compressed view.
Sort by lets you sort your fleet by:
- Device name (ascending or descending)
- Model
- organization
- Last check-in
- Support tickets
- Offsite
Show Hidden Devices Only displays the hidden devices in the fleet.
Edit Thresholds gives partners flexibility when alerts are triggered on BCDR Status pages. Thresholds allow you to set universal rules across your fleet, and ensure device issues are found sooner rather than later.Click Edit Thresholds to customize triggers for:
- Last local backup (default value = 1 day).
- Last offsite sync (default value = 2 days).
- Last screenshot verification (default value = 2 days. Reports as failed if screenshots are set to never run).
- Last device checkin (default value = 1 hour).
- Local storage exceeding a percentage of total storage space (Default value = 85%)
Device Section
- The Device Name and Serial Number shows in the leftmost section of the bar. Clicking on the device name opens the Device Overview window.
- Device Web launches the device's web GUI when clicked.
- Model shows the type of Datto device.
- Organization displays the end user of the device.
- Last Check-in shows when the device last checked into with Datto.
- Tickets shows open cases with datto technical support.
- Offsite shows the total space used in the offsite replication.
- Local shows the local used percentage.
Agent Information Section
The agent information table gives specific information about the agents and shares on the Datto device.
- Agent Name displays the name of each agent or share.
- Unprotected shows how many volumes on the agent are not included in backups.
- Last Screenshot shows the last successful screenshot taken for the agent.
- Last Offsite Sync displays the last time the agent 's data was sent to the cloud.
- Last Local Backup shows the last backup taken for each agent.
- Last 10 backup attempts displays the success (with a green circle) or failure (with a red X) of the last 10 backups across all agents on a device. Expanding the device to show all agents starts Compressed View, which then shows the last 10 backups for each individual agent.
This provides a quick visual check on the device's overall status, and can be compared to the Last Local Backup field to see if an agent is not adhering to its backup schedule, or if the schedule is disabled.
Paused agents will show as Paused in this field. If the device is not properly reporting the last 10 backups, an exclamation point will be displayed instead of the status indicators.
Advanced Verification
Advanced screenshot verification: Hover over the Last Screenshot column to view a device's screenshot and application status.

Compressed view can be enabled at the top of the page and presents important information across your Datto devices in a more condensed format.
Status Rollup: Rolling up each device's status takes all information and presents it on one line. Click the chevron to the far right of the device row to learn more about a given device. You can see in the image below that the production machine most in need of attention has had its status pulled to the display line of the Datto device.
