UniView – Recovery Operations
The Recovery Operations page can be used to see the real-time status of your current and past restores. With a focus on visibility, this page gives you clear status during critical recovery which helps you track progress, estimate time of completion, set accurate expectations with stakeholders, and make better decisions.

Navigation 
To view the Recovery Operations page:

Log in to UniView (login.backup.net).

Click Recovery Operations from the left navigation menu.
Use the top search bar to find restores by organization name, asset name, target, or requestor. Use the arrows in the column headings to sort by the values in that column.
TIP Hovering over with longer entries will display their full value.
Columns 
The entries on the Recovery Operations page are sorted into a table with the following sortable columns, to provide information on each of the restore operations.
This column uses icons to indicate the type of backup used for the asset being restored as well as the Operating System backed up for Datto Endpoint Backup v2 systems.
Hover the Icon for the name of the product or operating system.
Displays the Asset Name for the protected asset the restore was created for.
Shows the name of the organization that the protected asset belongs to.
Shows the date and time when the restored data for this recovery operation was backed up.
Shows the size of the recovery operation dataset.
TIP Hover over the size value to see the unit of measurement.
Shows which type of restore this operation has performed.
The values for Restore Type for Datto Endpoint Backup v2 include:
The values for Restore Type for Datto Backup for Microsoft Azure: Azure Files include:
For Datto Endpoint Backup v2, it will display the Asset ID for the destination asset.
For Datto Backup for Microsoft Azure: Azure Files, it will display the Azure Resource Path of the target.
Shows the percentage of the recovery operation that has completed. Completed restores will state that the restore has completed and display the time at which it ended in the End Time column.
Shows the rate of progress for recovery since the beginning of the operation.
NOTE The Progress column will show "Calculating..." at the beginning of operations and a dash for recovery operations that are complete.
Shows the estimated date and time when the recovery operation will complete based on the current rate of progress and remaining size. It will adjust to reflect changes in network conditions during the operation. The ETA column will show a dash for recovery operations that are complete.
Restore speeds will vary based on:
- network conditions between the restore location and backup storage.
- source data characteristics such as file sizes and compression ratios.
- system resources on the target machine.
The estimate becomes more accurate as the restore progresses.
Shows the date and time that the recovery operation began. If the whole start time is not visible, hovering the value will provide the entire date and time.
For in-progress restores, it will display the current amount of time elapsed since the restore has started. For completed restores, it will display the total time the restore took to complete.
Shows the date and time that the recovery operation finished. If the whole start time is not visible, hovering the value will provide the entire date and time.
The column will show a dash for recovery operations that are still in progress.
Shows the name of the user who began the recovery operation.
Restore Details 
Select a restore from the table to open the drawer containing additional information about the restore. The information included depends on the backup product the restore is for.

Each of the individual values for these categories may be copied to the clipboard using the copy icon next to the value. To save all of the information in the drawer, select either the copy icon at the bottom of the page or the download button, to download the information as a csv file.
