Uninstalling the Datto Linux Agent

This article provides the commands for removing the packages installed as a part of the Datto Linux Agent.
Environment
- Datto Linux Agent
Description
The un-installation commands will depend on the linux distribution. Select the distribution that is in use below and run the commands from the protected machine.
NOTE Using these commands removes the configuration. If the agent is re-installed, the pairing will be as a new asset. When removing for the sake of troubleshooting, please refer to: Datto Linux Agent troubleshooting steps.

sudo apt purge dattobd-dkms dattobd-utils libdattobd1 libmercury++0 libmercuryftp0
sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/datto-linux-agent.list

sudo yum erase dkms-dattobd libdattobd libmercury++ libmercuryftp dattobd-utils datto-el-rpm-release
Fedora 22+:
sudo yum erase dkms-dattobd libdattobd libmercury++ libmercuryftp dattobd-utils datto-fedora-rpm-release

sudo zypper remove dkms-dattobd libdattobd1 libmercury++0 dattobd-utils libmercuryftp0
sudo zypper remove datto-opensuse-rpm-release

sudo zypper remove dkms-dattobd libdattobd1 libmercury++0 dattobd-utils libmercuryftp0
sudo zypper remove datto-sle-rpm-release
