This article explains how to manage backups and perform restores for production machines protected by the Datto Endpoint Backup agent.

Environment

  • Datto Partner Portal
  • Datto Endpoint Backup

Description

This article assumes that you have already installed the Endpoint Backup Agent on your protected machine and that the agent has begun taking backups. If you have not already done so, see the Getting Started with Datto Endpoint Backup article before proceeding.

Overview

All Endpoint Backup backups reside on Datto's cloud servers. Partners can manage them from the Endpoint Backup Status section of the Partner Portal. From this section of the Partner Portal, you can perform the following functions for your organizations:

  • View the Endpoint Backup Agents in an environment
  • Monitor backup status
  • Perform a restore

To access the Endpoint Backup Status page, log into the Datto Partner Portal, and select Status > Endpoint Backup Status.
