Description
- Datto updates Datto Utilities on a regular basis. You should always ensure that your USB stick has the latest version available from download.datto.com before use.
- Datto Utilities is only compatible with writable USB media. Datto Utilities is incompatible with read-only media, such as CDs or DVDs.
- The Datto Utilities version of the Bare Metal Restore (BMR) environment is only available for Datto appliances running the latest Datto IRIS 4 (Ubuntu 20.04) OS.
- Before using the SIRIS Imager utility to image new hardware for use as a SIRIS device, it is critical to review all prerequisites in the Getting started with SIRIS Imaged article.

Datto Utilities 7.3.3 - 08-31-21
Improvements
This release features multiple improvements to the Datto Endpoint Backup for PC Bare Metal Restore functionality.
- You can now resume a Datto Endpoint Backup BMR process that has been interrupted due to a network outage.
- The Datto Endpoint Backup Restore Utility and standard Bare Metal Restore (BMR), are now a single download from download.datto.com regardless of platform for greater convenience.
- The BMR for Datto Endpoint Backup UI has been re-designed. You can now manually set drive partitions if required.
Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue that caused Datto Endpoint Backup BMRs to return to the wrong screen when started over or canceled.
- Rapid Rollback is no longer available for Datto Endpoint Backup for PC restores. The functionality remains unchanged for other products.
Datto Utilities 7.2.1 - 02-25-21

- The SIRIS Imaged UI now allows selection of a SLOG drive.
- The NIC used during SIRIS imaging is now automatically designated eth0 on the new SIRIS, with each additional NIC given a persistent logical name (eth1, eth2, etc).
