Troubleshooting Agent Error Codes for DWA and DLA

This article lists the Agent Error Codes that may be displayed in the Datto Device GUI for Datto Windows Agent and Datto Linux Agent related errors. Resources for diagnosing and resolving the issues that cause the underlying error are also included.

The Agent codes listed in this article are error alerts that will appear in device banners and alert e-mails specifically for issues with the Datto Windows Agent (DWA) or Datto Linux Agent (DLA).

Description

Agent errors are displayed in both the local device GUI and the Datto Device Web, when a backup has failed as the result of an agent related issue. Agent errors will display both the error number and a brief explanation of the error as per the example below:

Below is a list of Agent Errors that you may see displayed on Datto BCDR devices as well as a brief description of the error. Most of the errors listed are unique to the Datto Windows Agent, but some may also occur with the Datto Linux Agent as indicated. The last column includes links to resources to help troubleshoot and resolve the underlying issue that causes the alert.
