This article provides information regarding the Not for Resale (NFR) licenses for the Datto Endpoint Backup for PCs product.
IMPORTANT NFR licenses are only available for existing Endpoint Backup for PCs customers.

Description
This article assumes that you have already reviewed the requirements and overview for the Datto Endpoint Backup for PCs as well as installed the agent software on your protected machine. If you have not already done so, see the Getting Started article for information on doing so.
Overview
The NFR license is intended to be used for internal demo or lab use and has features of the Datto Endpoint Backup for PCs product. Two licenses are provided with every portal account with no charge. All restore options will be available to the production licenses will be available to the agents paired with the NFR license. Key notes include:
- NFR licenses does not support conversion to paid licenses
- NFR licenses do not support the transfer of backups to another license or subscription type
- The retention period of these licenses is expected to be 1 month and any data older may be removed.
